| I know you have a nagging curiosity that just wants to know a little bit about me...and I wish I had something incredibly fabulous to tell you! Truth is, I'm just a small town girl who loves to write, and finally gussied up the nerve to do something about it by starting a business!

| While I've been a freelance writer for 10 years-writing articles for online Websites and the occassional print magazine-I took a small break when I became a Mom in 1999. 8 years and three kids later I realized there was a neglected side of me that had been knocking on the back of my skull all these years, wanting to be let out. Despite crazy days of mothering three children-that seemingly spawned from the netherworld-and working part-time as an EMT for my local hospital, I found the sanity to put all of my Website writing experience to work.

| Creative Writing Studios was born after many, many an hour spent helping my fellow Ebay sellers write perfect auction descriptions and About Us pages for storefronts. As a clothing designer selling my outfits on Ebay, working with other women-owned boutiques became my speciality. Before I knew it, I had helped many of my fellow boutique sellers write better descriptions to sell more inventory! What started as a hobby presented the perfect opportunity for a business, which combines my love of being home with my extremely active kids, and my love of creating the written word.

| As a long time EMT working in a rural community, I encourage you to drive safe, be smart and call 911 without hesitation whenever you feel you need to. The faster you call, the faster your local EMS professionals can get to you (and the faster you'll find out what's wrong!) With summer coming, watch out for those little people on bikes, skateboards and in the water. Make me feel better, and watch out for your neighbor, lend a hand when possible...even if it's just to hold someone else's. And so I don't have to worry about you, wear your seatbelt!
Ok, that's my EMT plug for the day. Have you thanked your local Fire/Police/EMS lately?? They just might save your life someday.
